Peperomia glabella
A sprawling plant from the Piperaceae family featuring small dark-green leaves with a waxy exterior on long, flexible stems.
Care Tips
Peperomia glabella is native to a wide region from southern North America to centeral South America. It is known to be a hardy plant that tolerates neglect, so a good option for those with brown-thumbs. Notice it’s succulent-like leaves. A thriving Peperomia glabella will need:

- plenty of indirect sunlight. Place this plant anywhere in a brightly lit room, but not in direct sunlight!

- a pebble tray, humidity-loving neighbors, and light mistings during warmer months will help maintain humidity, especially if indoors

- as with most potted plants, well draining soil. I recommend adding perlite, bark, or sand.

- fairly infrequent waterings. This plant can go for many days without a sip. Be careful not to overwater. Keep an eye on the top few inches of soil, if they are dry, water.
